Wow, 40 issues of Andromeda Spaceways! I remember the original meetings long before issue 1 hit the streets, and I remember how many people expected ASIM to fold before the first year was out.

I think we're one issue behind schedule, but this is our seventh year of publication and we've obviously come up with an enduring method to run a small press magazine.

Co-op members come and go over the years, but we see the ASIM collective as a kind of non-violent Dread Pirate Roberts ... the efforts are ongoing, but the faces behind the gunports change from time to time.

With issue 40 we've changed printers, and the upshot of the change is that the magazine is now perfect-bound for the first time.
