Tehani Wessely (Purser)

Tehani was the first ASIMite to realise that breeding is a good source of renewable ASIM resources, with Jakob being born about a month before her first issue hit the shelves. Other ASIMites are now following suit, realising the value of indoctrination from birth.
Tehani has as at the beginning of 2007 edited three issues of ASIM. Somehow they all ended up being December or January issues, and she has vowed to never again volunteer for an issue that requires a lot of work in the second half of the year - it can only end in tears.

In addition to being a founding member of the Andromeda Spaceways Publishing Co-operative, Tehani is an almost full-time teacher and mum (yes, you can be both, you just don't sleep much), is about to start her fourth batch of university studies, and likes to read a lot.
She used to write too, but has not had much time for that lately so takes her frustrations out on her authors. When she DID have time, she was shortlisted for a national short story award, but thinks she has forgotten how to do things like that. She sometimes writes articles for the local newspaper instead, but they're not nearly as much fun.

In her Andromeda Spaceways role she is an occasional editor and slush reader, wears the Ad Girl cape and mask (and tights, but just in private!), acts as Secretary and usually keeps the books up to date. Sometimes. She likes to go to conventions and harrass innocent passersby into purchasing bulk back issues of ASIM and assorted merchandise.
