Sue's day job involves working with teenagers and persuading them that reading is fun, really, honest, and don't you want to read this issue of ASIM...? By night, she turns into a handcrafting, belly-dancing theatre-goer who has sold lots of children's non-fiction and a little fiction and is still trying to sell the great Australian werewolf mediaeval fantasy novel. At one stage, she used to try, weekly, to hit writer Sean McMullen on the head with a rattan sword. He was too tall.
